It's raining!

We woke up this morning in Kathmandu to the first rain in 4 months! We arrived in Nepal last week, and it's great. We went rafting at the weekend; it's dry season so the river wasn't very high, but there were enough rapids to be exciting, and the guide made sure we went down them in such a way that we all got wet. The river runs parallel to the road and as we floated downstream, people riding on the roofs of buses were calling out and waving to us from the road.

    I don't know why the piggy is golden, maybe he's oiled up with lotion for sunbathing?
